CHEER BAGS

Here is my newest idea to make $!
I am making purses, as I told you in my previous blog-but I got an idea to make bags/totes. I made this one to hopefully sell to a couple of cheer moms at the Highschool for their daughters. Let me know what you think!

I am hoping to slip in a trip to Dallas for at least a week or so to visit.

I am truly amazed at how God is in control and proves himself to me daily! What a wonderful God we serve!!!

No other big news here! Talk to you later!

Osama's latest words:

My message to you is about the war in Iraq and Afghanistan and the way to end it.
I had not intended to speak to you about this issue, because, for us, this issue is already decided: diamonds cut diamonds.
Praise be to God, our conditions are always improving, becoming better, while yours are the opposite.

However, what prompted me to speak are the repeated fallacies of your President Bush in his comment on the outcome of US opinion polls, which indicated that the overwhelming majority of you want the withdrawal of the forces from Iraq, but he objected to this desire and said that the withdrawal of troops would send the wrong message to the enemy.
Bush said: It is better to fight them on their ground than they fighting us on our ground.
In my response to these fallacies, I say: The war in Iraq is raging and operations in Afghanistan are on the rise in our favour, praise be to God.

The Pentagon figures indicate the rise in the number of your dead and wounded, let alone the huge material losses.
To go back to where I started, I say that the results of the poll satisfy sane people and that Bush's objection to them is false.
Reality testifies that the war against America and its allies has not remained confined to Iraq, as he claims.

In fact, Iraq has become a point of attraction and recruitment of qualified resources.
On the other hand, the mujahideen, praise be to God, have managed to breach all the security measures adopted by the unjust nations of the coalition time and again.
The evidence for this are the bombings you have seen in the capitals of the most important European countries of this aggressive coalition.

As for the delay in carrying out similar operations in America, this was not due to the failure to breach your security measures.
Operations are in preparation and you will see them on your own ground once the preparations are finished, God willing.
Based on the above, we see that Bush's argument is false.
However, the argument that he avoided, which is the substance of the results of opinion polls on withdrawing the troops, is that it is better not to fight the Muslims on their land and for them not to fight us on our land.
We do not object to a long-term truce with you on the basis of fair conditions that we respect.
We are a nation to which God has disallowed treachery and lying.
In this truce, both parties will enjoy security and stability and we will build Iraq and Afghanistan which were destroyed by the war.
There is no defect in this solution other than preventing the flow of hundreds of billions to the influential people and war merchants in America, who supported Bush's election campaign with billions of dollars.

Road Trip

Well, we haven't had a road trip in a long time, but we took one last night!
Our friends J and Jaqueline sold his truck to a man in Indiana, so we decided to ride along and follow the men as they set out to deliver it. We first made a pit stop for some dinner in Louisville. They have a new Cheesecake Factory, so I introduced it to all of them. They LOVED it! Finally we made it to Terre Haute, IN and checked in for the night.
The guys got up early Sat. morning to deliver the truck, then it was breakfast at IHOP!!! Love, Love, Love IHOP! Haven't been there since Dallas, and years at that!

We had a great time. I love road trips. Good way to get your mind off job crap!

Update on my job crap:
I had a 3rd and final interview on Thursday. The final decision will be made next Mon. the decision maker will be out of town all next week! Torture yes, but I am so sick of worrying about it, that I am not going to anymore! Whatever happens....happens!

Happy Birthday to Eileen!

Job Update

I have a 3rd and hopefully final job interview with the sales manager on Thurs.
I am continually praying that I will wait upon the Lord and not to impatient...which for me is hard most of the time!

My boss got in a yelling, screaming, pushing match with the branch manager today right in the middle of the office infront of the whole sales staff. Classy organization I work for huh! I have GOT to get out of there!

Please continue to pray for my job situation, before I pull my hair out. It seems like a hopeless situation!

Another weekend come and gone

Well, my singing "debut" went well I am told. I was nervous, but many folks said that they can't believe that I hadn't gotten up and sang before now, so I guess that is a good thing.

I am hoping to hear about my job this week. Please pray for me that everything will come together! I am holding tightly to Jeramiah 29:11- I know the plans I have for you, Plans for your future......

This weekend went by so quick for us. I hate that, because here it is Monday already and time to head back to work and do it all over again! I am thankful though to have a job to go to!

2nd week of Jan. already, can you believe it!

Well, gotta jump in the shower, Have a great week!

Daily Randomness

Well, my second interview went seemingly well. I am just playing the waiting game now. I hopefully will hear something on Monday. I still feel very confident about it! I will keep you posted!

Well, I have made a resolution after going shopping tonight. My sis in law Jennifer bought me a Lane Giant I mean Lane Bryant gift card for Christmas, and I got me some new snazzy jeans and a night gown. I had to go up a size in Jeans from the last time I went shopping for Jeans. That sucks!!! So, I am going to dedicate my new year to loosing weight. I used to be so much skinnier and hate that I have gained so much! Maybe you could send me some of your new recipes Amber!

One thing to gripe about! On our way home from Lexington tonight, I noticed that people STILL have Christmas trees up and plugged in mind you... and their house lights still on! CHRISTMAS IS OVER FOLKS AND IT IS THE 5TH OF JANUARY!!!!!!! Take them down!!!!!! If any of you who are reading this still have your stuff up, please don't be offended, just take them down!
Ok, I am done!

I have been asked to do special music at church Sunday night, and Michael invited the whole family, so now the preasure is on! Pray for me!

I will post a hair picture soon, I promise!!!

LONGHORNS CLAIM 4TH NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

HOOK EM HORNS!!!!

New Year, New Hair Cut, New Job

Well, here it is 2006~!
Another year has come and gone. I am glad that we have a new fresh slate and a whole year ahead... minus 5 days...

I have a new short sassy "do"- pictures to come.... for the new year. I was so sick of it being longer I couldn't stand it anymore!

I have a 2nd job interview that I am waiting to confirm, for a new dream job! I also found out yesterday that my lovely boss-and of course I am being sarcastic- already hired someone to take one of our places in my office and I believe it is for mine... gotta love that huh! The real kicker is that he wasn't planning on telling us/me until I guess he handed out a pink slip...
So, I am really anxious these days. I really, really want the job that I interviewed for, which is a Regional Recruitor and they say that I am their top pick, so I feel pretty confidant about it. But now not only do I want it, but I have to get it! I hate feeling like this...again!

I know that God is in control of the whole situation and I will continue to try to keep that at the forefront of my mind. Last night at church we only had 1 girl show up for our Kick off of our Bible Study, so we joined in with the younger ones to have a Bible Study together and then they had a craft, so for kicks, we did it too. We made shields out of paper plates in reference to the verse " The Lord is my strength and my shield"! I know that God wanted me to be in there for that to give me a gentle yet crafty reminder! It is funny how He can use a simple paper plate to bring us back to reality!

New Year , new to-do list... I am not making resolutions because they never stick, so I am just making a to-do list of things I want to accomplish! More on that to come.
